Newark High School to Host Junior ASPIRE Club
Congratulations to ASPIRE President Quindara Lazenbury and her dedicated team of student leaders for achieving another significant milestone. Last week, Newark High School activities coordinator, Valerie Morano, notified ASPIRE Historian Katie Kull that the school would like to host a service organization that will be connected to ASPIRE. Katie, a freshman majoring in Psychology Education, met with school leaders earlier this year to encourage their interest in allowing ASPIRE to mentor Newark High students who are interested in preparing for careers in education and youth development. According to Katie, ASPIRE will work with interested students to fully plan activities that will motivate them to plan for careers as teachers. She expects that some monthly ASPIRE meetings and campus activities will include students from Newark Hight School. Stay tuned for details and to volunteer for recruitment and launch activities. …WAY TO GO ASPIRE
