MAEE SCHOLARSHIP REMINDER BELOW:

Dear Sophomore/Junior Education Majors:
This is the fourteenth year for the MAEE “Jump Start Scholarship” program! In a nutshell, the students who are eligible to apply for these $1,000 scholarships are:
1) teacher candidates from racial minority groups (ie. African American, Latino, etc)
2) teacher candidates in “critical need areas” (Math, Science, Foreign Language, Special Ed)
2) teacher candidates in “critical need areas” (Math, Science, Foreign Language, Special Ed)
Details on student eligibility, selection criteria, and application procedures are provided in the following announcements and attached. Candidates for these awards will have completed 48 credits, but not more than 90 credits (completed by 9/1/10), and will continue in the Spring 2011 semester, as full-time students.
